Source material is from Wrong Speed’s rip of Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run played @78rpm (q.v. Alvin & The Chipmunks). Processed in Ableton, tempo/pitch chunkily modulated in Audacity. It’s like Bruce Springsteen on ketamine, with a not-so-subtle The Sonics (per pro. SUICIDE) vibe to the overblown vocal track. It’s as if the smoke in the room is so thick the needle is having a hard time finding the road ahead.
